We're excited to announce an important transformation that marks a new chapter in our journey toward free and accessible global education. My Innovation University has officially rebranded to Our Innovation, with a new domain at www.ourinnovation.org.
Why the Change?
Our decision to transition from My Innovation University to Our Innovation was guided by both legal and visionary reasons. After discovering that a school in France already holds the trademark for "My Innovation University," we chose to make this change proactively to avoid potential legal complications.
At the same time, we recognized this as an opportunity to evolve. The new name, Our Innovation, better represents our mission — education built by all, for all. This shift aligns us with leading global platforms such as Coursera and Khan Academy, emphasizing our commitment to offering absolutely free education to learners everywhere.
A Non-Traditional Path Forward
While we initially sought to establish a traditional university, obtaining a full university license from the State of Minnesota proved challenging. Among the requirements were a Ph.D.-level founder and a minimum of fifteen professors — qualifications that don't align with our model or our founder's background.
Rather than see these challenges as setbacks, we viewed them as a redirection. Our platform was never meant to be confined by traditional boundaries. We are redefining what education can be — open, innovative, and community-driven.
Our Innovation will continue as a non-traditional educational platform, offering free courses designed to empower individuals in areas such as technology, business, and personal development, while upholding our mission to make knowledge accessible to everyone.

Fowobi, A. Onikoyi – Founder, CEO is a visionary leader in business development and tech innovation, Fowobi continues to guide our platform's mission and global vision.
Aditya Chavan – Director of Data Systems & Analytics will lead our data analytics initiatives, providing insights that enhance learning outcomes and enable data-driven decision-making across the platform.
Mafeyisopin Ayeni – Director of Information Security & Infrastructure will oversee all aspects of information security and infrastructure, ensuring our platform remains safe, scalable, and efficient for all learners.
Haji B. Dukureh – Director of Technology & Operations will manage the innovative development and operations of our platform, ensuring smooth functionality and continuous improvement of our learning systems.
